Exercise normal security precautions
Exercise normal security precautions in Bermuda. Petty crime is frequent, especially by thieves using motorcycles and at popular tourist attractions, while violent crime and gun violence involving gangs also occur. After dark, avoid isolated areas such as deserted beaches and back streets. Coastal waters have powerful currents and common rip currents, while fatal road accidents involving motorcycles are very frequent and some popular beaches have lifeguards only from May to October.
Take normal precautions when travelling to Bermuda, and consult the travel advice of the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States or Canada because Estonia has no representation there. Other EU countries also lack missions, making consular assistance for passport loss, theft or detention extremely difficult. Follow local authorities' instructions if a hurricane approaches during the June to November hurricane season.

Normal precautions
Take normal precautions when travelling to Bermuda. Irish citizens need no visa but must have a valid passport with at least six months' validity. Although crime is relatively low, petty theft and street crime occur, so secure valuables and take care after dark or in isolated areas. Tourists may not drive, illegal drugs carry severe penalties, and hurricane-season weather may affect travel.

Usual caution
Use usual precautions as crime is generally low, but petty theft and break-ins, especially in St. George, create opportunistic risks. Avoid deserted beaches and side streets at night, and safeguard valuables. Foreigners cannot rent cars or drive quad bikes, while scooter travel is discouraged on narrow, winding roads. Guard against dengue and chikungunya, obtain insurance, and carefully reconsider travel during the hurricane season.
