Jersey recorded 62,800 passengers in July 2026, up 3.6% on the same month a year earlier but still at 64.5% of the July 2019 level. The total was 9.1% below the average of the three years before. It was the first positive July since 2024, and the highest single month of 2026 so far, ahead of May at 53,200 and June at 50,100.
Among comparable markets, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro both rose 5.5% on a year in July 2026, while the United States edged down 0.1%. Gibraltar fell 9.5% and North Macedonia declined 6.1%. Montserrat, which shares United Kingdom markets with Jersey, was down 7.2% in June 2026. The year to date figure for Jersey stood 0.7% lower than the same months a year earlier.
Jet fuel stood at $3.40 a gallon in July 2026, up 51.6% on a year. The July 2026 total of 62,800 was less than half the best month on record, August 2019, which reached 127,600. Earlier months of 2026, including February at 14,400 and March at 23,700, sat well below pre-pandemic levels.
