April 2026 brought 57,790 arrivals to Barbados, down 7.5% on a year and standing at 91.2% of the same month in 2019. The figure was 7.1% above the average of the three years before. It marks a second consecutive monthly decline, after March 2026 fell 4.9% on a year. Earlier in 2026, January and February had shown gains, while December 2025 also slipped. The year to date sits 1.4% behind the same months of 2025.
Among regional peers for April 2026, Barbados ranked 20th out of 21 countries on the annual change. Grenada led the shared market group with a 20.4% rise, followed by Curaçao at 10.5% and Saint Lucia at 8.5%. Turks and Caicos Islands rose 5.3%, while Antigua and Barbuda slipped 1.2%.
