Destinations: regions and cities
Places inside a country, from regions down to named cities, each read beside its country for the same period.
A country's total says how many nights were spent in it; a destination says where. /v1/destinations lists every place held inside a country: regions (NUTS 1 and 2, or the country's own provinces and counties), NUTS 3 regions, and about 700 named cities in Europe. Each place comes with its newest nights and, beside it, the country's own nights for the same period and frequency.

Each row says what it counts in basis. "All tourist accommodation" is hotels, holiday homes and campsites together, the same stays the country total counts, so share_pct gives the place's part of the country. "Short-stay rentals booked online" counts nights booked through the large booking platforms: monthly for regions from 2018, yearly for NUTS 3 regions. They sit apart from the country total, so no share is given for them.
Ask for one kind of place with level (region, nuts3 or city), one place with place (part of its name), a month or a year with period, and monthly or yearly places with freq. Every row carries its series id: /v1/series/{id}/observations gives the place's whole history, and /v1/nights?country=ES the country's.
City figures are yearly and start in 2020; regional platform figures arrive a quarter after the quarter they cover, NUTS 3 two quarters after.
Prices sit beside places: /v1/prices?country=ES&item=hotels gives the monthly consumer price of hotels, air fares and package holidays for European countries (an index, 2025 = 100, and its change on a year), each month with the country's own nights, so a price rise reads against the stays that met it.
Hotel performance by place: /v1/hotels?iso=ES&metric=adr,revpar&place=Benidorm gives the average daily rate, revenue per available room and occupancy by province, tourist zone and tourist point, month by month, where the country publishes them: Spain by province, tourist zone and tourist point, Singapore by hotel size, Thailand by region and Sint Maarten for the island.
Capacity sits beside places too: /v1/seats?iso=ES&group=country gives the seats offered each month on a European country's routes, by airport pair, by partner country, or in total next to its arrivals. Those tables run about a year behind.
For the United States, /v1/fares?airport=LAX gives the average domestic fare at an airport each quarter, weighted by passengers over its largest markets, with airport=US for the country.
